From October 17th to 19th, the Gazometro Ostiense in Rome will once again transform into a vibrant hub of innovation as Maker Faire Rome returns. As a Gold Partner, we’re thrilled to be participating with our largest booth ever in Hall 41, bringing together enthusiasts, projects, and a remarkable amount of creative energy. This year promises an exciting exploration of the maker world, showcasing countless demonstrations built using Arduino boards, sensors, and cloud tools – many representing truly groundbreaking applications.

Maker Faire Rome holds a special significance for us; it’s where ingenuity meets hands-on experimentation and where we reconnect with our incredible community. Furthermore, this year’s event will feature dozens of demos powered by the versatile arduino platform, some developed internally, others in collaboration with partners, and many more crafted by talented community creators.

Exploring the Arduino UNO Q: A New Era of Accessible Innovation

Central to our presence at Maker Faire Rome will be the highly anticipated live debut of the Arduino UNO Q. This board represents a significant advancement for arduino, designed to offer powerful capabilities with an intuitive user experience. As a result, complex projects become more accessible than ever before. Our CEO, Fabio Violante, aptly describes it as “the meeting point between what makers dream of and what makes the future possible.”

Interactive Demonstrations: Experience UNO Q in Action

Visitors will have the opportunity to witness the arduino UNO Q in action through a series of engaging demonstrations. For example, the Arcade Cabinet breathes new life into classic gaming experiences using UNO Q and a touch of nostalgia. Similarly, the Race Car challenge combines sensors, edge AI, and friendly competition, precisely timing each lap. Meanwhile, our Robot Dog will be roaming the booth, demonstrating how robotics can be both complex and endearing.

Beyond the UNO Q: A Glimpse into the Future of Making

The arduino UNO Q is just one piece of a larger puzzle. Notably, we’re showcasing our full ecosystem at Maker Faire Rome, including Nano Matter, Nano R4, Plug and Make Kit, Alvik, Nicla Vision, and many more – each designed to empower makers of all levels.

The Arduino Ecosystem: Empowering the Maker Community

Our booth embodies the spirit of collaboration and innovation that defines the maker community. As a result, visitors can expect to meet our team, connect with familiar faces, and discover firsthand what happens when creativity meets technology. We’re eager to share our passion for making and explore new possibilities together.

Community-Driven Innovation: Celebrating Collaborative Projects

Our co-founder, Massimo Banzi, emphasizes the significance of experimentation and play in fostering innovation: “The most revolutionary ideas often start as experiments – as play. Maker Faire and arduino were born from that same spirit and continue to inspire those who dream of building the future with their own hands.”

Join Us at Maker Faire Rome!

We invite you to join us at Maker Faire Rome 2025, running from October 17th to 19th at the Gazometro Ostiense in Rome. Discover the latest advancements in hardware and software, connect with fellow makers, and be inspired by the endless possibilities of the arduino ecosystem.
